Well..
I finally have gone and did it. I've posted my very first YouTube video to my channel, a channel that I have created some years ago in hopes of jumping right into it. I created the channel when I thought that I was going to run a political and social commentary channel, it was apply named " Another Opinion" because I felt that just like everyone else, I held and opinion and wanted to have a space to express my 'informed" opinion but doing so, was leaving me drained and angry all the time, angry at the state of our society and most of the players within it. Not only the political players within the structure, but those who supports it...
So, realizing all of this and wanting to continue to aspire to be a content creator, I need to find the niche or the topic space that gave me a space to not only share my informed opinion, but also gives me a sense of joy and peace with the confidence to continue to pursue to be a content creator...
Along comes a new direction for me, it has been a few years in the making and it all started with this blog page, because it is a part of the overall content creation package. This blog and a podcast are just a beginning that has been in motion, but now I've added....
A YouTube channel of the same title as my podcast on the podcast platform Podbean. For too long now, I've been just playing around the edges of the creator stuff seeking information here and there, trying to set a schedule so that I can be more consistent with posting my content out the on various social media platforms, but always running into the available time to do so. Well, I am now aiming for that to no longer be an excuse to just do it. In short,
I AM BETTING ON MYSELF NOW...
I never really knew how to go about that, I've always was operating in survival mode, and in some ways I feel like that I still am. By voicing this out loud, makes it so real now, and frankly, I feel like this is worth the risk because it is something that I enjoy, feel conformable doing, know that I can do it and now is ready to be consistent doing so.....
